What’s the difference between Ripstix® and a regular drumstick?

Ripstix® are quarter-pound brightly colored green plastic drumsticks specifically engineered for any POUND format. They are shorter in length but similar in sound to a normal 5b wooden drumstick. Our Ripstix® are made to withstand direct impact to the mat and for the safety and efficacy of the workout through each repetition and upper body movement. Regular 5b wooden drumsticks are solely made for drums. The material in a Ripstix® can also be easily disinfected versus a porous wooden drumstick. Learn more about our Ripstix here.
